The most social stars of the celestial show this month are Venus and Mars, both in Capricorn as the latter steadily marches to and passes the former. They meet with jazzy fireworks and with Mars having the upper hand, at first.

The Lunar Nodes are being activated by trine & square from Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces while they’re in the last degrees of Gemini/Sagittarius then moving into the first degrees of Taurus/Scorpio. This shift brings awareness from the mind to the body, and it will start a new year and a half long eclipse cycle where we integrate the beliefs that have been uncovered from the last eclipse cycle into the physical space we take up in the world.

Jupiter gives us wings, lifts us onto a magic carpet, and brings bigger thoughts than we could have fathomed before we went on the adventure. If I had to choose one holiday that feels more Jupiterian than any other, I would select New Year’s Eve. Laughing with friends, popping bubbly, indulging in charcuterie boards, watching fireworks, and delighting in the sheer joy of being alive and with loved ones to celebrate the passing of time.

September is the flowers growing through a fence, pushing to find light while twisting between an unmovable rock and hard place. The inner personal planets are transitioning into signs which they don’t particularly enjoy and with not as much power as they’d prefer, and the only one staying in a sign this month is Mercury who is slowing down and preparing to move retrograde. All planets always continue to move and have something to offer us, just as flowers will always continue to grow and find a way to thrive. Even in harsh environments, even in unpredictable conditions, and even when the odds appear stacked against them.

I’m thinking about how wildly marvelous it is that humans get to exist and feel and connect… while also thinking about how wildly easy it is to take our delicacy for granted.

July’s fixation kept moving into the beginning of August, as if there are unfinished ends needing to be properly tied. Planets moving out of Leo and moving away from the grip of Saturn and Uranus opens up a lighter transition that is very welcome, giving space for creative solutions to be found.

Before a spotlight can shine, the scene must be set.

Hot girl summer or overloaded pressure cooker? Steamy and sexy parties or flared tempers exploding? Hey Siri, play “Coming In Hot” to set the vibe for the heat settling in that’s kicking off the season with a sizzle and pop. This month’s alignments are heavy with fixed energy. Fixed signs want to keep things where they are, steadily, securely, to continue along the path they have forged. In your endeavors right now, this is not a time to be pushing forward in a hurried rush. This is a time to focus on the foundation that you’re building through which longevity can be safely achieved.
