⁣⁣Do you keep records of your emotional well-being? ⁣❤️💔⁣

I’ve been tracking my daily moods for over 2 years, and I can’t imagine how I would feel right now without that. There were many months after my dad’s death that I had more depressed days than happy days.

It’s okay to not be okay, especially during times of trauma. Making the decision to track your moods means that you are choosing to feel, for better or for worse. That recognition holds power.⁣

⁣⁣Seeing patterns of feelings and how those correspond to other factors such as your sleep schedule, meal timing, and workout routine is extremely beneficial. I have more consistently positive moods when I’m resting enough, eating healthily, and regularly exercising.

Other ways that you can positively influence y⁣our day: establish a consistent morning/evening routine, prioritize time spent outdoors in nature, or meditate in stillness. ⁣
